Primula Veris
Cuy Lippe, Herb Peter, Paigle, Key Flower, Key of Heaven, Fairy Cups, Petty Mulleins, Crewel, Buckles, Palsywort, Plumrocks, Mayflower

The cowslip is a hardy perennial and member of the primrose family. Cowslips are a native wild flower to Britain most often found in hedgerows and meadows. They have tall stems with clusters of small yellow tubular shaped flowers, which grow above rosettes of mid-green oval shaped leaves.

Contents: Approximately 400 seeds

Average height: 25cm
Aspect: Partial Shade
Soil type: Humus-rich. Best grown on limestone or chalk soils.
Sowing period: Late autumn or early winter
First signs of blossom: Early spring
Average flowering period: 2 months

When sowing in seed trays, cover with glass, or use a cold frame to ensure that the winter rain does not waterlog the seeds. Cowslip seeds benefit from getting a frost to aid germination. This can take place after 21 days, but is erratic, and requires patience. Most often the seeds will germinate the spring after an autumn sowing, when the temperature and light has increased sufficiently. Cowslips like a moist, but not wet soil.

Harvesting
Pick flowers just after they have opened, ideally once the morning dew has passed so that they are already dry and ready for use, particularly if you are going to crystallise them or use them for flower sugar. If you are picking them a few hours before use, place the stems in a glass of water to keep them fresh and prevent wilting.

Our packaging is made from FSC recycled cardboard and environmentally friendly inks. The seed bags are waxed paper or compostable starch to keep seeds in the best condition during storage.

Love this product!
This sunscreen is heavy duty, I use it on my boys when we go to beach (They love to spend hours and hours under the blistering sun) and it out performs other brands and has longer protection than their 50 SPF product.

Sun Safe and Satisfied
Living in Arizona, where the sun reigns supreme, finding a reliable sunscreen for my daughter has been paramount. Our spring and summer are filled with swimming lessons, poolside gatherings, and outdoor adventures. In this sun-drenched setting, Coppertone SPF 70 Sunscreen for Kids has become our go-to sun protection. The standout feature for me is its thick consistency. It’s a parent’s little helper, allowing clear visibility of where the sunscreen is applied to ensure no spot is missed. And the results speak for themselves – my daughter hasn't had a sunburn since we started using it. While she doesn’t have the fairest skin and tends to tan rather than burn, the effectiveness of this sunscreen has been impressive. I’ve even used it on my own skin, particularly on my shoulders, and I'm happy to report no sunburns there either. It’s reassuring to have a product that I can trust for both myself and my child. However, I’m aware of the growing concerns regarding certain sunscreen ingredients and their potential health implications. Coppertone SPF 70 contains a mix of chemical sunscreens like Avobenzone, Homosalate, and Oxybenzone. These ingredients have raised questions in recent years. Some studies suggest that chemical sunscreens can be absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream, leading to potential health risks. Oxybenzone has been under scrutiny for its potential effects on coral reefs and marine life, as well as concerns about hormonal disruption in humans. While these ingredients have been effective in preventing sunburns for us, I understand the importance of making informed choices, especially when it comes to health and wellness. As with any health-related product, I encourage others to research and decide what’s best for their family, considering both the effectiveness of sun protection and the potential impacts of ingredients. In conclusion, Coppertone SPF 70 has been a reliable ally in our family's fight against sunburns. It's a product that offers peace of mind when it comes to sun protection, but mindful consideration of its ingredients is advised for those who are concerned about the broader implications of chemical sunscreens.

Amazing how fast it goes on without the white look!
This stuff is amazing!! I wear baby sunscreen because I rub my eyes a lot, but most of it takes forever to rub in and not look white. This rubs in immediately like any other sunscreen, and it doesn’t burn my eyes at all, not even when I scratch my face and then rub my eyes. So it’s great for small children too, not just 75 yr old ones!

Used for years
I have used this sunscreen since my kids were toddlers. I don’t find it sticky and it turns clear pretty fast. I don’t typically need to reapply on them more than once.
