Thank you for choosing our premium Aglaonema Silver Queen seedlings! Here's how to care for your new plants.

Aglaonema, commonly known as Chinese evergreen, is a popular indoor plant prized for its attractive foliage and low maintenance requirements. Here’s a detailed care guide covering each aspect of caring for aglaonema plants:

 Site Selection:
- **Light:** Aglaonema prefers bright, indirect light. It can tolerate lower light conditions but may not thrive or produce vibrant foliage. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
- **Temperature:** Maintain temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Protect from drafts and sudden temperature changes.
- **Humidity:** Prefers moderate to high humidity levels. Regular misting or placing a humidifier nearby can help maintain humidity.

Soil Preparation:
- Use a well-draining, peat-based potting mix. A mix formulated for tropical plants or houseplants works well.
- Ensure the pot has drainage holes to prevent waterlogging.

Planting:
- Repot aglaonema every 2-3 years in spring if needed, or when roots outgrow the pot.
- Select a slightly larger pot with good drainage.
- Gently loosen the roots when transplanting and plant at the same depth as the original pot.

Watering:
- Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry, typically once a week.
- Allow excess water to drain away completely to prevent root rot.
- Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down.

Sunlight:
- Bright, indirect light is ideal. Place near a window with filtered sunlight or use artificial light if natural light is insufficient.
- Avoid direct sunlight, especially intense afternoon sun.

Fertilizing:
- Feed aglaonema monthly during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer or rich compost
- Reduce feeding in fall and winter when growth slows down.

Mulching:
- Mulching is not necessary for indoor aglaonema plants.

Pest and Disease Management:
- Aglaonema is generally resistant to pests but can occasionally attract spider mites, mealybugs, or scale insects.
- Inspect regularly for pests, especially under leaves and along stems.
- Treat infestations with insecticidal soap or neem oil as needed.
- Maintain good air circulation around plants to prevent fungal issues.

Propagation:
- Propagate aglaonema through stem cuttings.
- Cut 4-6 inch sections of healthy stems with at least one leaf node.
- Place cuttings in water or directly in moist potting mix until roots develop.
- Transplant rooted cuttings into individual pots once established.

 Maintenance:
- Remove yellow or dead leaves regularly to maintain plant health and appearance.
- Prune back leggy growth to encourage bushier growth.
- Wipe leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and keep foliage glossy.

Aglaonema plants are relatively forgiving and adaptable, making them excellent choices for indoor spaces with moderate light conditions. With proper care, they can thrive and add beauty to your home or office environment.

ishiness
Format: Paperback
Williams' poetry requires some bio, and Charles Tomlinson's introduction in this edition has proved helpful. also Wendell Berry has published a handsome critique in "William Carlos Williams of Rutherford" that helps to mitigate some of the ishiness that may result from reading Williams without understanding the man. that beins said, Williams speaks well to the listeners of the finical new millenium with a mind for the migrant-flux consequences of the coming century -stressing the "thing" and the "American idiom" with attention to detail and irrepressible imagination "flung outward and up-disappearing suddenly" (from "Strains" in Al Que Quiere)
