Gear Ratios:
- 1st Gear 1.67:1
- 2nd Gear 1.33:1
- 3rd Gear 1:1
- 4th Gear 1:1.25
How it works, Automatic Gear Shifting Examples:
Lego Car with the Gearbox is going up Steep Hill, the Gearbox will automatically change down to 1st Gear for more Torque (So it can make it up the Steep Hill).
When the same Car is going on smooth flat surface, Gearbox will automatically change back up to 4th Gear for more Speed.
2nd and 3rd Gear will be automatically selected for small hills or accelerating, when extra Torque is required.
The Automatic Shift Sequence is (4,3,2,1), Starts from 4th gear when no load is applied.
Note: The 6.5L Lego Shock Absorber used for the Spring, can be changed from a Grey Soft Spring to a Red Hard Spring. If you plan to use this Gearbox in Heavy Vehicles (3-5kg plus).
