After the mods your pedal will have thick, rich distortion and gain to spare. With our mod, the DS-1 is surprisingly warm, with great bass response and a wide range of usable tones; from roaring distortion to gnarly fuzz with lovable, splatty tones. All this from a seemingly harmless DS-1.

Included in this modification kit are detailed instructions, including photos and all the parts needed to voice your DS-1 in 5 different styles. The mod kit takes things one step further and replaces just about every capacitor in your signal path with high quality audio grade capacitors.

Upgraded power supply caps allow the pedal to run at up to 18V. 

After the mod you will not believe it's the same pedal. Included is a water-clear bright orange LED.

NOTE: in 2017 Boss produces the some pedals with surface mount technology. This mod kit will not work on the new Boss pedals with a surface mount PCB. Review the image with this product listing for more information.
