Evolved to thrive in dry conditions, the Sansevieria has developed CAM photosynthesis, enabling it to open its pores at night and close them during the day to conserve water. The 'Star' Series offers a variety of cultivars with different sizes, heights, and color patterns, but all feature upright, spear-like leaves arranged in a distinctive rosette shape.
