The Sabbadius Tiny-Vibe pedal uses the same components as its big brother, the Sabbadius Funky-Vibe. In order to squeeze everything in such a small box, Sabbadius eliminated the expression foot control jack, as well as the fuse socket and transformer. A large Speed knob on the side of the pedal now lets you control the Vibe speed with your foot.
The Tiny-Vibe pedal painstakingly replicates the sound and vibe of an original 1960s Uni-Vibe. Sabbadius spent years tracking down the correct components to perfectly recreate this legendary effect. The Tiny Vibe is filled with rare components like Matsushita transistors and NOS bulbs.
Like the original, the Chorus/Vibrato rocker switch selects between classic Hendrix swirl or subtle pitch modulation. Plus, you can choose between True Bypass switching or "Cancel". "Cancel" turns off the effect, but keeps your signal going through the Uni-Vibe’s wonderful, warm preamp.
The 68 Tiny-Vibe was designed to replicate the original 1968 Honey Uni-Vibe. Its tone is reminiscent of Hendrix on the "Axis: Bold As Love" album.
The 69 Tiny-Vibe was designed to replicate the original 1969 Shin-ei Uni-Vibe. This version of the Uni-Vibe was famously used by David Gilmour and Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock.
