What exactly is HDF??
High Density Fiberboard
It is engineered wood from chips and pulped wood waste, formed by glue under immense pressure and heat. When it comes to engineered wood, HDF is a step above MDF and plywood and has all of the attributes of solid wood, but does not have any grain. It also does not bleed, resists cracking in temperature and humidity changes, but should never be put in contact with direct moisture as it is water resistant, but not waterproof.
