Stampede Wrangler Bermuda Grass Seed Blend

*Limited Supply for 2026

Stampede Plus Bermuda Grass Seed is a purpose-built, three-variety bermudagrass blend designed for warmer temperate climates where dependable, high-volume forage is essential. By uniting Wrangler, JM76, and Giant bermudagrass, this seed mix delivers faster establishment, strong early-season growth, and robust late-season yield, helping livestock operations maximize pasture productivity year after year.

What sets Stampede Plus apart

  • Three-variety synergy: Wrangler provides winterhardiness and reliable early green-up, JM76 accelerates establishment and boosts late-season production, and Giant bermudagrass delivers rapid first-year forage growth. Together, they balance risk and reward across the growing season.
  • Cold tolerance with smart insurance: In years when winters extend further into the South, Wrangler helps guard against winterkill, ensuring forage quality remains steady while JM76 recovers in subsequent seasons.
  • Season-long production: The blend is crafted for full-season high production—early forage from Wrangler and JM76’s late-season strength complement Giant’s quick first-year growth for immediate and ongoing grazing value.
  • Perennial, rhizomatous resilience: Stampede Plus is a perennial stand capable of regrowth under regular grazing pressure, maintaining productivity across multiple years in suitable climates.
  • Proven establishment characteristics: With coated seed for improved germination and a shallow 0.25" planting depth, this mix establishes efficiently in warm soils.

Growing conditions and plant traits

  • Zone: Warm, Transitional
  • Growth habit: Rhizomatous, perennial
  • Height: 10" – 16"
  • Sun: Full sun
  • Seed treatment: Coated
  • Soil/temp requirements: Minimum soil temperature for germination is 65°F
  • Planting season: Summer to late spring

How to use Stampede Plus for maximum pasture value

  • Coverage: 10–12 pounds per acre, making it efficient for range-wide renovation or new pastures.
  • Management window: Plant in warm, moist conditions to capitalize on rapid germination and early stand development.
  • Grazing strategy: Begin grazing once plants reach a healthy stand and plan rotational grazing to protect new shoots during establishment.
  • Soil readiness: Prepare a well-drained seedbed; avoid compaction and ensure adequate fertility to support rapid establishment and sustained growth.

Ideal scenarios and benefits

  • Pasture producers in southern and warm-temperate regions seeking reliable year-round forage for cattle, sheep, or goats.
  • Renovating or establishing new pastures where faster establishment reduces interim feeding costs.
  • Situations with occasional cold snaps—Wrangler’s winter tolerance helps preserve forage availability during uncertain winters.
  • Operations prioritizing high initial yield (first-year forage) followed by strong late-season production as JM76 matures.

Why this mix matters for your operation

Stampede Plus Bermudagrass maximizes forage production potential by blending traits that address common farm constraints: cold tolerance, quick establishment, and sustained growth. Forage producers who value early pasture recovery, steady green-up after winter, and robust first-year yields will find this mix particularly advantageous. Planning around the 10–12 lb/acre rate and the 0.25" seeding depth helps align your renovation or new pasture with practical timelines and irrigation schedules, delivering a dependable feed base when it matters most.

Decent ball
Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2
Context: I have a busy, anxious Corgi. I like that it came with a pump to air it up. My dog likes the tag feature on it which made the ball easy to carry. She chewed off the tags pretty quick. She didn’t like herding this one as much. She prefers herding a basketball over this ball. The ball sits in the backyard through all the weather and elements and has held up pretty well. We’ve had it about a year and it’s still a good toy.

Easily Ripped apart within minutes
Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2, Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2
I have a new foster who’s only 35 pounds not an aggressive chewer and loves to play with my dogs rooster soccer ball toy but the ball itself is a little big for her to get her teeny little mouth around when she’s trying to carry and run with it this happened to pop up on my feed a size smaller (medium, instead of large ) and available for next day delivery, so I bought it specifically for the little dog to play with. I gave it to her to play outside while my hound is busy playing with one of her toys I went about watering the garden, when I turned around a few minutes later, I saw the ball appeared to be completely flattened. As I walked over, I saw pieces of black rubber on the ground, and then the rest of the ball had a gaping hole in it. The rooster version of the ball that I bought from another seller has been going strong for months with multiple dogs playing with it and chewing on it and ripping the side ribbons apart so either I got a defective toy or the quality of manufacturer from this seller is much lower since the durability of the ball seems to be less than an hour.

Not very durable
Color: Blue Puppy, Size: Medium Size 2
This ball is cute and my dog loves tags. However he popped this ball with one bite to carry it…. Within 10 minutes of getting it. It should have a tougher exterior
