- Trichocereus pachanoi 'San Pedro Cactus' is a fast-growing columnar cactus that grows to form a small tree.
- Easily propagated from offsets.
- Produce large white flowers that typically bloom during the night in the spring and remain open during the day.
- Hardy to Zone 9 (20° F). Trichocereus pachanoi will not survive a hard frost. If there is only a risk of freezing temperatures for a few days, most succulents do just fine outside if they are covered by frost cloth or a sheet until temperatures increase (I'm talking to you, Zone 9 friends). There are reports of Trichocereus pachanoi being cold hardy to 10° F, but we haven't personally tested this.
