Description:
This bundle of 6 plants features 2 Zamioculcas Zamiifolia plants, 2 Chlorophytum Variegatum plants, and 2 Nephrolepis Exaltata plants. Zamioculcas Zamiifolia is a slow-growing plant that is known for its ability to thrive in low light conditions and its attractive glossy green leaves. Chlorophytum Variegatum, also known as Spider Plant, is a fast-growing plant with long, slender leaves that are green or variegated with white. Nephrolepis Exaltata, also known as Boston Fern, is a lush fern with delicate green fronds that help purify indoor air. These 6 plants will bring a variety of colors, textures, and purifying benefits to any room in your home.
Plant Care:
- Light: The Zamioculcas Zamiifolia, also known as the "ZZ Plant," is a low-light tolerant plant. It can thrive in areas with low to moderate light, but it's best to avoid direct sunlight. Chlorophytum Variegatum and Nephrolepis Exaltata, also known as the Spider Plant and Boston Fern respectively, both prefer bright, indirect light, but can tolerate low light levels.
- Water: The ZZ Plant is a very drought-tolerant species and can survive for long periods without water. Water it thoroughly when the soil is dry to the touch and then allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again. The Spider Plant and Boston Fern are more moisture-loving, so be sure to keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged.
- Humidity: These plants prefer a moderate to high level of humidity. Place them in a room with good air circulation, and you can also increase humidity levels by misting the leaves regularly.
- Soil: ZZ Plant and Spider Plant prefer a well-draining potting mix, while Boston Fern prefers a mixture of peat moss, sand, and potting soil.
- Fertilizer: Fertilize the ZZ Plant and Spider Plant monthly during the growing season with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. Boston Fern can be fertilized every 2-3 weeks during the growing season with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer.
- Pruning: Prune the ZZ Plant and Spider Plant as needed to maintain their shape, and remove any yellow or brown leaves as they occur. Boston Fern will benefit from regular pruning of its fronds, which will encourage new growth.
