The Aloe snow drift is another top of demand aloe hybrid originating in South Africa and India. It belongs to the aloaceae family. Its foliage is the main attractive part. Growing as a rosette, the leaves are white with specks of green. To top it, the leaf margin has no teeth or spine, which is unique for aloes. It needs full to partial sun but indirect light helps in the best growth. The blooming season is typically spring, but it can flower all the year through with the right amount of warmth and sun. This is a tender succulent that is not frost hardy and requires protection from freezing temperatures, with a recommended minimum temperature of 30-32°F (-1 to 0°C). It thrives in USDA zones 9-11 but should be brought indoors or otherwise protected during periods of frost to prevent damage

Growth Rate
The snow drift plant has a moderate growth rate.

Flowering
The blooming season for snow drift aloe is spring mainly. But, with the right care and conditions, it can bloom any time of the year into orange or red flowers.

Watering and Feeding
Give the Aloe snow drift infrequent watering only when the soil is completely dry. When watering, take care that the water runs out of the container's drainage holes.

Soil
It needs well-drained soil. It's best to use containers with good drainage holes. A cactus soil mix that contains at least 50% coarse sand, perlite, or pumice is considered suitable.

Hardiness
The plant is not frost-hardy as it is a tender succulent. It grows well in hardiness zones above 10.

Light
Aloe snow drift needs bright light but should be indirect or filtered.

Propagation
Propagation via offshoots is suggested.

Aloe snow drift is a showy succulent with bright orange blooms and snowy white foliage. It survives under all conditions and produces many offshoots.

Don't buy it
Format: Paperback
It does not prepare for the real test. Using it is absolutely not enough to be approved with good grades. Too expensive for what it offers.
