Sowing Rate: 1 seed every 2 - 4 inches (soak the seeds overnight for better germination)
Sow Florence fennel seeds indoors about a month before the last frost, planting them in peat pots 1/4" deep; keep the temperature around 65-75 degrees F for best germination. Fennel can also be direct sown as soon as the soil temperature reaches 65 degrees F. Space the seedlings or seeds about 12" apart in fertile, well drained soil and full sun. Transplant the seedlings carefully, since shock may cause them to bolt. Fennel must be planted away from other garden plants, since it tends to have a negative effect on their growth.

good for my sons severe eczema

i was skeptical to purchase because of the price, i didn’t want to spend that much on a product that potentially wouldn’t work. my son has severe eczema so we’ve tried loads of products including prescribed steroid/non steroid creams. Tubby Todd is the most hydrating of them all. don’t get me wrong, his skin wasn’t healed over night & his eczema isn’t “gone” but after a couple weeks of use his skin is healing & he is having less breakouts. i am so glad i gave Tubby Todd a chance.

Great cream, not so great price

My one year old has recently started to have eczema in these warmer months and I had heard good things about this ointment so I wanted to give it a try. I grew up with eczema and still have ongoing issues with it and didn’t want her to have to go through the same thing. I also wanted to avoid steroid creams if at all possible so I went straight for “the big guns” and purchased this thinking “oh it has to be the holy grail for this price”. Don’t get me wrong it is a decent eczema cream, but not for the price. You can find much cheaper creams that have the same results. I used this religiously with my daughter and it still did not clear up her eczema. Took her to her pediatrician and ultimately had to use a short term low dose topical steroid that cleared it right up. As far as daily maintenance use I will opt for a less expensive version next time.
