Introducing McColley's Philodendrons, a unique variety of philodendrons that stands out with its remarkable name and captivating copper-coloured foliage. Philodendron Mccolley's Finale is not considered a rare plant, but it is not as common as some other Philodendron varieties. It is a relatively new hybrid, first introduced in the 1990s. It is also a slow-growing plant, which can make it more difficult to find.

The rarity of Philodendron Mccolley's Finale can vary depending on where you live. It may be relatively easy to find in some areas, while in others, it may be more difficult. This plant has become increasingly popular in recent years, which has led to an increase in demand. This can make it more challenging to find the plant, especially in areas where it is less common.

McColley's Philodendrons are native to the lush tropical rainforests of Central and South America. In their natural habitat, they thrive under the dense canopy, receiving filtered sunlight and enjoying warm, humid conditions.

One of the distinguishing features of McColley's Philodendrons is their striking copper colouration. When young, the leaves emerge in a mesmerising shade of copper, creating a visual spectacle that adds warmth and vibrancy to any indoor space. As the leaves mature, they gradually harden and transition to a rich green colour, showcasing a delightful contrast between the new growth and the established foliage.

Caring for McColley's Philodendrons is relatively straightforward, making them a great choice for plant enthusiasts of all levels. Here are some essential care tips to keep your philodendron thriving:

Light Requirements: McColley's Philodendrons prefer bright, indirect light. Place them near a window with filtered sunlight, ensuring they are shielded from intense, direct sunlight, which can cause leaf burn.

Temperature and Humidity: These philodendrons thrive in average room temperatures ranging from 18°C to 24°C (65°F to 75°F). They appreciate moderate to high humidity levels, so misting the leaves or placing a humidifier nearby can help create a suitable environment.

Watering: Water your McColley's Philodendron when the top inch of soil feels dry. Allow excess water to drain away, as overwatering can lead to root rot.

Soil and Potting: Plant your McColley's Philodendron in well-draining potting soil. A mixture of peat moss, perlite, and compost works well to provide proper drainage and nutrition for the plant.

How big does a Philodendron Mccolley's Finale get? Under ideal conditions, a Philodendron Mccolley's Finale can reach 1-3 feet tall and wide in 1 year.

What are the main differences between Philodendron Mccolley's Finale and Philodendron Prince of OrangeThe main differences are in their leaf coloration and shape. Both plants are of similar size, but Mccolley leaves are more oval, heart-shaped, and red-colored vs. Prince of Orange leaves, which tend to be more orange and elongated.

Fertilising: To promote healthy growth, feed your philodendron with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser during the growing season (spring and summer).

Our organic indoor plant food is made from Seaweed, harvested sustainably. Seaweed provides a delicate blend of growth hormones and micronutrients that is perfect for all indoor plants. Houseplants grow throughout spring, summer and autumn, so they will benefit from organic fertiliser during this time to encourage flowering and keep them healthy and well.

Suppose you have been searching for alternatives to blood, bone and other so-called “organic” fertilisers. In that case, our original organic Vegan Plant food is for you and is sold exclusively through our website. Buy here

Is Philodendron Mccolley's Finale a climber? No, Philodendron Mccolley's Finale does not climb. It is a self-heading plant, meaning it grows upright and does not vine or climb.

Styling-wise, McColley's Philodendrons can be showcased in various ways. Their captivating copper-coloured foliage makes them a focal point in any room. They pair beautifully with neutral-toned pots or containers, allowing the vibrant leaves to take centre stage. Consider placing them on a plant stand, tabletop, or as part of a lush indoor jungle display to create a striking visual impact.

To enhance their tropical allure, you can surround McColley's Philodendrons with companion plants that mimic their natural habitat. Species like ferns, bromeliads, or other philodendron varieties can complement their vibrant foliage and create a harmonious jungle-like atmosphere.

Super soft and adorable!
Size: 9 Toddler, Color: Macaroon
Bought these shoes for my daughter as an alternative to the classic jellies! The are butter soft! She’s been wearing them consistently for weeks now and not a single blister as formed. (Unlike when she wore the classic style ones) I’m even buying my niece a pair for her birthday because she is now jealous! The color is perfect for any outfit or occasion. They can be dressed up or down which makes them the ideal shoe! And of course super easy to clean which is of course a major factor in kids’ shoes!

LOVE these shoes
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Macaroon
Absoultely LOVE these! So easy to wear for my 3 year old and put on. They are sturdy and could be rinsed off. They were very comfortable for her and left no marks on her skin. Warning to parents, if your kid steps on your foot it hurts like hell because they are like spikes under the shoe. GREAT for traction and running, but man it hurts. I will purchase more next summer. Great price, great fit, and lightweight.

Cute but run BIG!
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Macaroon
I can't get the jellies from Children's Place anymore. They are causing blisters. Wanted to try these but boy, they run HUGE. My daughters sneakers are Toddler sz 8. They are starting to get tight. So got a 9 in these. WAY big all around. So got an 8. Still, too big but will save those for next Summer. Would try a 7 but the price rose. Seem soft though and I like the brown color! Would recommend but sizing is difficult. Not just in length but all around they are bigger.

Sleek, upscale and supremely comfortable
Size: 9, Color: Cognac
I did not know that Marc Joseph makes hands free slip ins. I own four pair of Skechers, and I thought they were the only game in town. I decided that I wanted a pair of business casual pair of wingtips. I already own two pair of Skechers Mark Nason wingtips in blue and black nubuck, so I bought a pair of their cognac colored. Perfectly fine shoes, but when they arrived, I didn't like the color, so the search was on! I found these cognac-colored Mark Joseph's and hands down, they fit the bill for what I was looking for! I actually bought two more pair of Skechers in the brown family in the same oxford, elastic lace style: One pair of another style of their Mark Nason line and one pair of their Garza line. So now I am comparing three pair of Skechers to the Marc Joseph's. Obsessive, I know :). Luckily, I have a Skechers store near me for easy returns. The look I was going for is a sleek, business casual that I could dress up or down. Three things that I love about the Marc Joseph's are the beautiful cognac finish: the white yet lower profile soles and the more formal, narrower toe style. The MJ's nailed it with the color. They have a slightly darker, more lustrous and glossier look than the others. The color alone looks classier and pairs well with black pants which I wear for work almost every day. The white soles are exactly what I was looking for. The visible rise is probably about a third of the thickness of the others and are a much more subtle, classier look. They offset the cognac color nicely but are not that in your face, sneaker looking, thick white sole. When I was comparing them to the others right out of the box, I thought they would be too narrow and tight because they looked sleeker and narrower than the others. But they fit perfectly and were very comfortable right out of the box. Upon closer inspection and comparison, I realized the narrower, sleeker look is because the eyelets for the elastic shoelaces are closer together that give the illusion that the shoe is narrower. They compensate for what might create a tighter fit across the top of your foot with two stretchy "gores" they are called on either side of the upper part. The "slits" are nicely finished, and you can't see the stretchy part and add a nice design touch to the shoe. But between them and the elastic shoelaces, they must stretch just enough to make them extremely comfortable across the top. So, if you have a high instep/arch, they should accommodate it nicely. Last but not least, they are very comfortable shoes. I wear a size 8 1/2 to 9 and my foot is slightly on the wide side. I bought the size 9's and they fit perfectly. If you are between sizes or have wider feet, you may want to size up a half size. Because the Skechers have much thicker soles, they might be slightly more cushioned, but the MJ's are cushioned more than enough for my purposes and very comfortable. Plus, they actually just feel better on my feet. I can't speak to how durable they will be as I just got them, but so far, so good. So, there you have it. I rely on other people's reviews a lot when buying online, and especially for shoes. I know it's always a crap shoot, particularly when buying shoes online, so I hope this review helps. Everybody's feet are different, but I highly recommend these.
