When using Sesbania for green manure, it should be plowed under in 8 to 12 weeks. Sesbania is great for biomass, soil sweetener, or Summer cover crop for Winter vegetable crops. Sesbania is a seed-producing legume, which is also used for game bird feed and cover in food plots. This seed can germinate in 7-10 days under ideal conditions.

Plant between May and July, at a rate of 30 to 40 lbs. per acre. Use EL Type Inoculant, and 0-14-14 fertilizer at a rate of 300 lbs. per acre.
