I have to charge it several times a day, though the light never flashes red when the battery is low, it just doesn't work anymore. It also makes a beeping sound when she's playing with it that is super annoying, which sucks because the ball itself isn't super noisy even in the hardwood floors. I wouldn't purchase this again, and we'll probably have to toss it out within a week or two, I really don't see this thing lasting very long. Without the movement, it isn't a ball we would let her play with because she is a strong chewer and the material doesn't seem chew proof at all. I'm only giving it 2 stars because she really does love playing with it, but the battery life and beeping sound are atrocious.
