This romantic vintage red velvet dress was custom-made in the late 1930s (possibly early 1940s), and is entirely one-of-a-kind. The maxi-length crushed red velvet is so rich. It features a gathered empire waist, with long tailored sleeves that come to a point at the cuff. It was reworked and modernized around the 1970s, with a zipper added in the back, making it easier to wear. Because of the empire waist, this can also be an incredible vintage maternity dress. Closes in the back with a zipper.

The Antique Victorian Heart Locket pictured is also available. 

Measurements: This will best fit a size X-Small, Small and possibly Medium; please refer to below measurements. It is smaller through the shoulders and chest, with more flexibility through the waist and hips.

Empire waist/underbust: about 29", gathering offers some forgiveness there
Hips are open up to 45"
Length: 53"


Good vintage condition overall; there were some repairs made to the fabric at the bottom skirt towards hem. Why go to a tire repair shop and spend a fortune when you can do it yourself. However most people don't want to be bothered but for us do it yourselfers this patch set was great. Comes with various patches all in different sizes. If you're not familiar with fixing a tire it's really easy and honestly a scam getting it done. Fun fact the gray glue on the bottom is actually activated when you drive heating up the patch and vulcanizing it to the tire but it doesn't hurt to actually use some rubber cement to seal around the patch to prevent future leaks. I ended up having to use these on one of my motorcycle tires when I ran over a pallet staple, for me the biggest patchwork and once testing and rebeating the tire there was no leakage. Good price for the amount you receive and cost less to repair it yourself than taking it to a shop
