OVERVIEW

The AX27 Clamshell Rooftop Tent is the ultimate camping solution that will exceed your expectations, thanks to The Bush Company’s extensive experience in aluminum fabrication and touring/camping.

The robust clamshell design is super fast to set up/pack down and provides a roomy internal space for easy access and maximum comfort, making it perfect for a luxurious camping experience.

Made from top-quality materials that can endure the toughest of weather conditions, the AX27 Clamshell Rooftop Tent will offer you an unforgettable camping time that will leave you feeling confident that you have made the right choice.

This product features a fully seam welded lightweight alloy frame with a high quality powder coated finish. The 2m long cargo rails are welded to the top of the roof, making it easy to attach accessories or the optional roof load bars. The internally reinforced roof is load rated to 200Kg when closed, or 50kg when open.

The tent body is made of two layers of 310g polyester rip stop acrylic infused mould and mildew resistant canvas. A large canvas removable rainfly is located at the rear and sides of the tent with heavy duty 8mm spring steel poles and adjustable storm straps for heavier wind conditions.

There is an air vent above the rear entrance with midge mesh and zipped canvas flap on the inside. Additionally, the base and top frame feature ‘Ezi-Slots’ that provide an easy attachment of accessories such as awnings, hi-lift jacks, light bars etc. Finally, the tent has three entry points; rear, left and right sides all with YKK zippers and external canvas storm door with high quality midge mesh and internal canvas door.

SLEEPING AND STORAGE

You’re in for a treat with the AX27 – an effortlessly spacious rooftop tent that holds all the comforts of home, and then some. With three sizable windows/doors, all with double canvas doors and midge mesh, natural light and ventilation are in ample supply.

The mattress, layered with medium and super density foam that’s a plush 80mm/3.15″ deep, is topped with a removable canvas cover for easy care. And the tent’s interior? Wide enough to accommodate two sleepers with additional room to spare – so feel free to bring all the bedding and extras your heart desires.

With the AX27, storage won’t be an issue: storage pouches and pockets are abundant, accompanied by thoughtful touches like water bottle holders. Camping just got a serious upgrade thanks to the AX27.

ACCESSORIES AND ELECTRICS

With our top-of-the-line tent, you can take on any adventure with confidence. Load up your gear, from surfboards to kayaks, on the roof of the tent without worry.

Whether you’re off the grid for days or just need a quick power boost, mount solar panels to the roof and keep all your devices charged with the multiple power sockets and USB ports inside the tent. The tent’s power connection is easy to access, thanks to the 50amp anderson plug on the underside of the tent base. And don’t forget the tri-color rechargeable LED light that can be positioned anywhere on the roof for optimal lighting.

With the optional fan mount bracket, you can even add a 12V Scirocco fan to enhance your comfort. The tent’s accessory brackets make it easy to carry shovels, hi-lift jacks, and light bar/spot light brackets, ensuring you’re always equipped for your next adventure.
