Hayley is fitted neatly across the shoulders, with darts in every size to create the perfect fit at the bust, without losing movement through the body. The scoop neckline at both the front and back keeps the style simple and flattering, while an all-in-one facing gives a clean finish on the inside. Add the shaped tie belt to define the waist, or leave it off for a more relaxed silhouette.
Hayley works best in light to medium weight woven fabrics with a bit of drape. Viscose linen, linen, viscose and crepe are all perfect choices, and softer cottons work well too - just make sure they’ve got a bit of drape if you’re sewing up version 1.
