The Lambda is an extremely unique double-sided platform pedal designed in conjunction with Rivendell Bicycle Works. The Lambda design uses a somewhat traditionally alloy pedal body attached to a very unconventional alloy step block and is built around our hand-adjusted cup and cone bearing system.
The large “C” shaped step blocks feature an octopus sucker-like dimple that provides excellent grip without shoe damaging pins. While this pedal is quite a large front to back, the unique design isn’t particularly wide allowing for ample clearance while cornering. Due to the large surface area, this pedal is popular for cycling in boots and fat biking.

Protection Without Gimmicks
There are few things worse than the product you use to protect your skin from the sun having the adverse effect of breakouts. You feel betrayed by the maker of the product, as did I when I tried another popular brand last summer. To make things worse, I avoided using it on parts of my body where the breakout were at their worst (face and chest) and burned badly one day as a result. Well this summer I went back to using Neutrogena - a brand that has never failed me. Have no plans to stray this time.
