Boogie Blue Basic is a quality and high-value water hose in line filter that can be easily installed on any standard 3/4" hose and removes Chlorine, Chloramines and more to help achieve gardening excellence! Capacity up to 10,000 gallon lifespan. Has a 100% Activated Carbon block filter membrane, (no KDF material). While the lack of a KDF membrane does somewhat limit the Basic’s chloramine reduction capacities, it will still help tremendously in keeping your soil biology intact! The Activated-Carbon block possesses all-around chemical-reduction properties and functions as a first-line defense against free chlorine and heavy metals.
The Boogie Blue BASIC Water Filter removes up to 99% of the Chlorine and 87% of the Chloramine, and reduces all levels of volatile compounds, toxins, heavy metals, insecticides/ herbicides present in the water.
We have used the USA Boogie Brew Filters here at our Worm farm for years and still use them exclusively.
The Boogie Blue Basic Filter can be used as a pre-filter to greatly extend the life-expectancy of the Original Boogie Blue and other KDF-content filters. It also functions as a handy all-around home and garden filter with very little maintenance required, occasional back flushing is recommended.

Filters should be replaced each season depending on usage, or when the flow slows down, or if indicated by a chlorine test.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the filter. To reduce the risk of property damage due to water leakage, this filter MUST be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and instructions. This filter unit must be replaced at the rated capacity, or sooner if reduced flow occurs. Protect from freezing. Failure to follow instructions and operating specifications will cause damage to this filter. Further, the manufacturer assumes no responsibility or liability for damages arising out of misuse of the product.
