Tahoma 31® Bermuda Grass Plugs

Bring your yard to life with Tahoma 31® Bermuda — one of the most advanced and resilient turfgrass varieties available today. These greenhouse-raised plugs arrive 100% healthy, pre-established, and ready to thrive in your lawn.

Why Choose Tahoma 31®?

🌱 Rapid Spreading Growth: Fills in quickly - spreading 12 inches or more in all directions during the growing season to create a thick, carpet-like lawn.

💧 Superior Drought Tolerance: Requires significantly less water than most other Bermuda varieties, making it ideal for water-conscious homeowners and drought-prone areas.

🥶 Best-in-Class Cold Tolerance: Tahoma 31® is one of the most cold-hardy Bermudagrasses available, staying greener longer into fall and greening up earlier in spring.

🏃High Traffic Durability: With excellent wear resistance and fast recovery, it's perfect for lawns that see kids, pets, or heavy foot traffic.

🌞 Excellent Heat Tolerance: Handles high temperatures without stress—ideal for southern and transitional zones.

🐛 Pest & Disease Resistance: Naturally hardy and less prone to common turf pests and diseases, reducing the need for chemical treatments.

🧑🌾 Low Maintenance: Needs less frequent mowing and fertilization compared to many other warm-season grasses, giving you a beautiful lawn with less work.

Whether you're filling in bare spots or laying the foundation for a brand-new lawn, Tahoma 31® Bermuda Grass Plugs are your best bet for a durable, attractive, and easy-to-care-for turf.

Planting Instructions

Planting is easy - Just use a hand trowel or plugging tool to create 2x2" holes in your yard. Once your hole is created pop in a plug, pack with dirt, and water!

We recommend planting 1 plug per square foot, but you can place closer for quicker fill in! Bermuda will spread aggressively in warm weather.

Plugs will take root within 7-10 days during the growing season. Water requirements: 1 inch each day for 14 days, then 1-2 inches per week while actively growing. Keep the area mowed short (1-2" inches) to promote lateral growth and discourage weeds.

✅ Arrives Fresh Guarantee - We carefully pack and ship your grass on the same day, which allows it to arrive fresh throughout the continental United States. In the event of a shipping delay that causes the grass to die in transit, we will send replacement trays. Since grass is a living plant, you must unpack your trays the same day you receive them and notify us within 24 hours of any issues.

Maintenance Tips

Spring
Fertilize once when grass turns green.  Mow to 0.5" to 1.5" as needed. Mowing will increase the speed in which the grass comes out of dormancy.
Summer
Mow once or even twice a week during peak growing conditions.  Water only if extended drought.  Occasional fertilizer (once every 6-8 weeks) only if areas still need to grow in.
Fall
Mow as needed, but frequency will be reduced.  Do not add fertilizer during this time. You can leave the grass a little longer than during the summer for extra insulation once the frost arrives.
Winter
No maintenance needed while dormant

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
