Original Items: Only One Lot of 15 Available. This is a fantastic opportunity to add a large amount of WWII German military field items to your collections. Items such as these ones were very important to the everyday soldier fighting during the war. Packs helped them carry much needed supplies, weapons maintenance kits allowed weapons to remain functional when needed, canteens for the ever needed water supply to stay hydrated belts for supporting as well as carry items such as bayonets and various pouches, entrenching tools for foxholes and slit trenches and so on.
Items that seem “ordinary” were worth their weight in gold to a soldier who didn’t have the following items:
- x3 Canteens With Cups: Both style canteens are in good, serviceable condition.
- Gas Mask Canister: This is just the can, no mask or spare lenses are inside. Good condition with much of the original paint.
- M31 Mess Tin Dated 1943: Features just the main body and lid. Much of the original paint is still present with the expected wear present.
- x2 Gaiters: The gaiters are in good condition but do show signs of heavy wear present.
- WWII German 98K Rifle Cleaning Kit: These are the official Rifle Cleaning Kits introduced in 1934. Consisting of a light steel can with hinged lid top and bottom, a chain pull-through, one large bore brush, an oiler and a cleaning tool or spoon for the receiver. A must completing any German WWII rifle. Missing the “weight”.
- 40” x 25” Canvas Supply Sack: Marked H.Verpfl. for “Heeres-Verpflegung” which stands for Army Supply Service and Dated 1943. It has the Army National Eagle clutching swas in a wreath.
- M31 Bread Bag: The bag is worn and shows signs of field and service use but is in overall solid condition.
- Unidentified Small “Universal” Pouch: The pouch is in good condition with snaps present.
- M41 Rucksack: The rucksack is in solid condition and shows signs of moderate field use and wear. All buckles, snaps and leather straps appear to be present and in working order.
All items come more than ready for further research and display.
