The new V3 release of the Browne Protein Dual Overdrive pedal, here in black, delivers two classic circuits along with player-friendly upgrades. The 'Blue Side' brings the overdrive sound used on countless recording and live rigs with a natural, less compressed, and more open overdrive tone, with an extended top-end. The 'Green Side' delivers a classic Nashville-style overdrive, that brings a compressed, chewy and darker overdrive sound, with some added mid-range punch and a tighter low-end that eliminates some of the woofiness in the bass. The secret “third” channel of this pedal delivers added fullness and gain when running the green side into the blue side, which makes for a versatile dual overdrive pedal!
Made just down the road in Kansas City, the new version 3 features player friendly top-mounted jacks and soft-switches.
